West Door & Window

This window was originally the west doorway enterence on to the nave.

The church suffered from mining subsidence during the late 1960's and continued until Reverand Peter Warren over saw the repairs in the late 1980's early 1990's.

The subsidence caused the doors to hang uneavenly letting in the elements. It was therefore decided that as the doorway was no longer used

it would be better to replace the door with a window (screen)
